FINALLY! It was done! A simple one (clap clap)
Spent the whole night yesterday touching up and writing descriptions for my poster. Finished everything by 1am (yawn)
Thanks to JW and Wilfred
My poster brings about awareness to Laboratory Safety.
Each of the images shown in the poster symbolises the importance of safety in the lab, telling us about the use of prudent practices and protective equipment to minimize the risks.
I created the blending effect in the border by using the ‘Gradient Overlay Tool”, and made the background look brighter by using a mixture of bright luminous colours like Blue, Yellow and Green.
Warm colours like Red and Yellow, often the colours associated with Danger, as well as the “High Voltage” lightning symbol were used to bring about attention to danger or hazard.
A clipboard design was added to the background to give a ‘Safety Checklist’ feel to the whole poster.
The ‘Rounded Rectangle Tool’ was used to create a shape for the title, filling it with red colour to bring about attention to danger as mentioned earlier.
Alright! Shall take a nap now... catching a movie later.
